Taylor Swift: the Eras Tour

The current pop sensation, Taylor Swift, has hit once again and has redefined the concert experience with her popular tour named “The Eras Tour”. It is not just an ordinary concert, it is a mesmerizing journey through the many phases of her career, also called eras.

The concert starts with the “Lover” era, which is inspired by her album with the same name that came out in 2019. It continues with “Fearless”, “evermore”, “Reputation”, “Speak Now”, “Red”, “folklore” and “1989”. The next are the “surprise songs” which are randomly chosen songs from all albums. There are 2 acoustic sets for these songs: a piano set and a guitar one. The concert ends with the era “Midnights”, which is inspired by her latest album.

The Eras Tour also had a movie that started streaming in theaters worldwide on October 13th. It contains the whole concert, except for some songs that were added later in the extended version of the movie and it was directed by Sam Wrench. This movie had a lot of success, becoming the highest-grossing concert film of all time, earning $250.3 million worldwide.

The production of the tour has been praised and even called the most expensive and ambitious production of the 21st century. The whole stage is actually made of three separate stages connected by a broad ramp. The setlist contains songs from diverse genres such as country, pop, alternative and folk. Even the singer’s wardrobe has been a subject of widespread media coverage. There are many different outfits for every album, some of which change every show.

Both the actual tour and the movie have won many awards, being Taylor Swift’s most successful tour and movie of all time.
